In a complaint filed August 28, 2007 with New York State Chief Administrative Judge Ann T. Pfau, the niece of beloved Ice Cream magnate Tom Carvel says Westchester County Surrogate Court Judge Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr., appears to be actively involved in the long-standing pattern of criminal activity against Thomas and Agnes Carvel, their estates and their charities. The "incestuous influence," says Pamela Carvel, includes the recently discovered findings that Judge Scarpino had serious conflicts involving his own personal bank "loans" worth $300,000.00-- "loans" from the sole adverse litigant to Carvel family members, the bank that wrestled control of all the Carvel millions.
Included in the complaint is her discovery on May 8, 2007, that, she says, shows attorney William E. Griffin fraudulently transferred a Carvel estate located in Ardsley, New York worth $10 million to the company of Griffin's law partner's brother for just 2 million. William Griffin-- the alleged president of the Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation, and Chairman and major stock controller of the Hudson Valley Bank—is currently the subject of an investigation by the office of New York's Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.
The complaint to Chief Administrative Judge Pfau is 115 pages, and we have only posted certain pages on this forum. Other information—on page 2—has been redacted but will, according to sources, be made public soon. (If any reader desires the full 115 page complaint, which includes the exhibits, send an email request to corruptcourts@gmail.com, and we will send a full copy via pdf format.)

Good Grief Griffin has been screwing Hudson Valley bank for 30 years!! I know, I've seen it. Griffin robbed Bob Abplanalp blind, and tells everyone he controls John & Marie. Do everyone a favor: "expose" Griffin, and send him away...jail, retirement, corner bar...whatever....
ReplyDeleteThe Hudson Valley Bank from the beginning has always been a Mob Bank. Look at the people who started it.....
ReplyDeleteThere is plenty on the blog about Judge Scarpino, his assistant Jody Keltz, Frank Streng and some of their other playmates. This adds yet another log to the fire but, someone has to do something! No one wants to step up and do their JOB! As long as this situation continues the system is not working which will at some point make what happens in the end much worst.
ReplyDeleteTony Scarpino is a dirtbag and belongs in prison garb.....but when?
ReplyDeletesomething went wrong here. it was supposed to be the BEST JUDGES MONEY COULD BUY..... how did it turn into the WORST JUDGES MONEY COULD BUY.
ReplyDeleteTHROW THEM IN THE CLINK.

ReplyDeleteTHROW THEM IN THE CLINK.
The Carvel matter started prior to Anthony Scarpino with his predecessor. Everyone (all the players) have gotten a piece of this estate. Scarpino has no business dealing with the Hudson Valley Bank he's not stupid, he knows the deal. All of these bums should fall, let them rot in jail.
ReplyDeleteJudge Anthony Scarpino is spending his full time on the Astor Estate and learning as he goes. He/they are excited about any leaks and get real paranoid when something is on this blog. Heard they are checking computers but I'm using my laptop.
ReplyDeletecan this corruption get any worse?
ReplyDeleteSome people in Westchester made a very good living off the Carvels, Winstons et al. now it's time for the next stuffed goose, the Astor Estate.....Welcome to the Surrogate Butcher Shop of Westchester!!!!!!!! Your Estate doesn't come out the way it went in!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I were Carvel or some of these other folks that became victims at the hands of Judge Scarpino and his cronies, I would be after them until the day I died! And then I would haunt them ALL as a ghost!!!
ReplyDeleteLet's see if anything comes of the meritorious action and what Judge Ann T. Pfau does with it. I'm personally suspicious the system will permit anything revealing to happen. Judge Ann T. Pfaue better get going with these matters or they will run her over.
ReplyDeleteKnow about the Carvel matter and even IF half of the truth ever came out some people could go the jail. But for that to happen someone would have to be unhappy and squeal on his fellow attorneys
ReplyDeleteScarpino has violated the rights of many people. When you file complaints nothing happens, everyone covers up. These Judges and their law clerks deserve to learn what a long stay in a jail is like.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the story Tony? Recently, you caused your decisions to be published? Think this is the first time this has happened? What's up Tony? Has the Astor Estate/Trusts given you religion? You usually bury them and they are unpublished? Did someone downtown say somethng to you?
ReplyDeleteI just came on this blog for the first time. And I can't believe this stuff.
