Trial Lawyers Offer People's Law School
New York Lawyer - January 11, 2008
CASPER, Wyo. (AP) -- Here's a way to learn about the law without getting arrested.  The Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association is hosting a series of six-week courses called the People's Law School.

Practicing attorneys teach the courses. They include a traffic investigator, a prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney, a family attorney and a trusts and estates attorney.  The classes will be held at Casper College on Wednesdays, starting next week.

Casper attorney Michael Shickich said nearly everyone will come in contact with the legal system at some point in their lives. He said the purpose of the program is to teach people about that system so they're not blindsided.

  1. I hope they don't forget the courses on recognizing when the court system is wiretapping your home, making multiple recorded phone calls to your home, atempts to run you off the highway using state gov. employees, and sending drive-bys past your home to view who is living there etc! These are the courses most AMERICANS have no knowledge about from any media or personal source and are used if you become the ethical conscience and truth teller of the JUDICIAL SYSTEM!

  3. the attorneys in new york would never do this because people would get wise to the scam and if that happened the attorneys and judges would not make a very nice living - but it's a great idea!
