Federal Judge on DDC Ethics Scandal: "Whistleblower"

The federal court transcript of the December 12, 2007 hearing in Tammany Hall II - New York's newest Ethics Scandal has been obtained, and is posted to the right, "Ethics Scandal Update: February 7, 2008".

The hearing before U.S. Federal District Court Judge Shira A. Scheindlin preceded the two now-approved as related cases in the New York attorney ethics scandal. The 3rd case, entered Monday, January 14, 2008, is Esposito v. The State of New York. (SDNY 07cv11612) The Esposito case joins Anderson v. The State of New York, which unearthed the apparent long-held practice of cover-ups and whitewashing of complaints against favored attorneys at the Manhattan based attorney Departmental Disciplinary Committee.

The Esposito ruling followed the January 11, 2008 announcement that a 2nd case, the 1.5 Billion dollar Iviewit lawsuit, known throughout the world in technical, intellectual property circles as "Patentgate," had also been ruled by Judge Scheindlin as related to the Ethics Scandal. (SDNY Bernstein v. Appellate Division First Department Departmental Disciplinary Committee)

Other filings seeking to be designated by Judge Scheindlin as 'related' to the ethics scandal matter are expected soon.

  1. with this 'Whistleblower' suit brought by Anderson, I believe that the full realization of the level of CORRUPTION within the STATEWIDE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE will be revealed.

  2. Within the exposure of the whistleblower corruption, we must include the mess in the rest of the OFFICE OF COURT ADMINISTRATION! It appears that the federal judge does not believe that a federal monitor is required because the situation is not ongoing....which is correct! The federal monitor needs to be requested by someone who has a case that would require such a designation! I know i have that case (retaliation and discrimination), but i have requested too many amendments already, so i will do so, but i must wait. My case is adjourned for a year, unfortunately. Also, it was filed a few years ago, before I was aware of all of the connected circumsances! Anyway, the quicker the Anderson case is moved, the better it is for everyone....Thank You!

  3. I think this will elevate from the Disciplinary Committee to the highest levels of the courts as the DDC was only following orders it appears. Many of the DDC failures were reported to other authorities and to derail those there had to be others in esteemed roles of justice who are part of the criminal enterprise operating the NY courts and investigatory bodies.

    The Anderson case will inevitably call back to the table each and every case that was derailed since Cahill's employment. Then the question of how those were covered up and each of those will invariably lead to a group of similar people that aided and abeted to maintain a lid on the complaints, as complainants were shuffled about between the various regulatory bodies from one crooked cop to the next, to one crooked judge to the next, a well greased wheel.

    How high does it go should be the question on everyone's mind and from the looks of it, it went all the way in every way. From Esposito's tapes, it looks like these guys are wired into the criminals and favors are abundant for those that join the gang. I believe that Isaac's guy even infers he is connected to the Executive branch for favors.

    The tip of the iceberg is here, I gotta feelin that what is buried beneath is a monumental criminal enterprise of lawyers, judges, cops and politicians. Kudos to all those who have the balls to stand in the face of this terrorism on New York, for you the following quote should suffice to make your heroic actions worth the suffering:

  4. To the comment above...What are they going to do now to cover-up their crimes? It seems there is a significant amount of evidence to put these criminals behind bars for a long, long, long time. How were they getting away with all of the corruption in the first place, wasn't anyone over-seeing the Courts and Attorneys? That's New York City for you.

  8. Why is Former Judge Sherwood still working in the ninth district after an unsucessful reelection bid. Could it be a special appointment, in order to secure a lucrative pension from the people of NY states tax dollars ?

Judge Linda Christopher has proven herself to be anti male.She makes unbelievable threats against men in divorce cases.She has come right out and said that a defendant will lose if he has the audacity to ask for more time with his own children.This woman is a menace to the legal system and should be investigated and promptly removed from the bench.Rockland Countys Court system is like the deep south in the 1950s.Where are the Federal authorities ?

I agree,No one should be subjected to these Judges.They are nothing but political hacks that get in to office by playing the political game.Once they are in,they owe everyone.Mostly there fellow attorneys.They pay them back by prolonging cases and forcing people in to forclosure.This is the first step towards securing your property for their operatives.

  13. when is federal govt going to look at this problem?
    After the DDC`s lawyer`s string them and harass them for years and years. After the DDC twists thier words and cleans it up so they look good.
    I dealt with the DDC in my opinion they do discriminate against minoritys. After talking to them
    i was positve about that.

  15. LUISA ESPOSITO SAYS...I GUESS THE DDC AND ALL THE OTHER AGENCIES THOUGHT I WOULD GO AWAY, IF THEY HARASSED ME AND DENIED ME MY CONSITUTIONAL RIGHTS. WELL THEY WERE WRONG. NOW, IT'S MY TURN TO SHOW EVERYONE WHAT WAS REALLY GOING ON AT THE DDC AND ALL OF THE OTHER AGENCIES.

  16. What does anyone know about OCA counsel MICHAEL COLODNER, ESQ.? Is he behind a lot of the illegal advice given to the RULING JUDICIARY...KAYE, PLUMADORE, LIPPMAN ETC., SO THEY CAN FUNCTION WITHIN THIS CORRUPTION? I am very concerned about this person and his influence...expose him for me please!

  17. I filed a complaint against my lawyer with the DDC that was blown away. I have read the transcript of the Anderson court conference in December and believe this is only the tip of the iceberg. The lawyers that are pulling the strings behind the scenes figured it was business as usual. Surprise!!!

Then the whole world will look at us and say what is the difference between a third world dictatorship and us? A basic precept - THE RULE OF LAW DOES NOT EXIST! The evidence is there for all to see!

    OK - We all agree the government has corrupted but that is expected. What is missing is the PEOPLE taking back their country as demanded by the Declaration of Independence.

    In fact, our cherished Declaration of Independence states:

    Get off your couch, get your pitchforks for no one is above the law, no one is "extraordinary" because they are a public servant and these guys are pubic servants if you get what I mean. Take them by their scrawny necks, rip off their robes of injustice and flog the shit out of them.

  25. I FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST ADA LISA FRIEL FROM THE NEW YORK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, THE COMPLAINT WAS THROWN OUT IMMEDIATELY BY THOMAS J. CAHILL. THE FIRST DEPT. (DDC) NEVER EVEN INVESTIGATED IT. I THEN SENT IN ANOTHER LETTER REQUESTING A RE-EVALUATION AND THAT WAS IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED.
