GREAT FALLS, Mont. — The Valley County justice of the peace has been cited for drunken driving. Justice Court Judge Linda Hartsock pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge Monday during an initial appearance in City Court in Glasgow. Glasgow Police Chief Bruce Barstad says the 54-year-old Hartsock was arrested outside the Valley County Courthouse at 8 p.m. on Dec. 29 after the department received a complaint. Barstad says Hartsock was not pulled over, but was found in her vehicle outside the courthouse. Hartsock, who has been the justice of the peace in Valley County for 12 years, was back at work later Monday. She told The Great Falls Tribune she "made the biggest mistake in the world" and said she was not proud of it.
Another idiot who thinks they're above the law.
