Disbarred NY Lawyer Who Ripped Off the Disabled Jailed

Disbarred NY Lawyer Who Ripped Off the Disabled Jailed
The New York Law Journal by Vesselin Mitev - February 1, 2010

Steven T. Rondos, the former Brooklyn attorney who pleaded guilty to stealing millions from guardianship accounts of incapacitated seniors and children, was sent to jail by a Manhattan judge on Friday while he awaits sentencing. Mr. Rondos, who had been free on $2 million bail, was indicted last year on money laundering and grand larceny charges of stealing more than $4 million from various accounts he oversaw. A probe uncovered that at least 16 court examiners had signed off on Mr. Rondos' reports without detecting any red flags. Five examiners resigned in the wake of the probe and one was suspended. Mr. Rondos, who has since been disbarred, pleaded guilty in November to all 19 counts of the indictment and was set to be sentenced to between six and 18 years. On Friday, defense attorney Franklin Rothman asked Acting Supreme Court Justice Ronald A. Zweibel to allow his client to remain free until a restitution hearing is held. Mr. Rothman told the court his client was "the last person in the world" who would run away but the court remanded Mr. Rondos until the restitution hearing, now set for Feb. 10.

Saint Andrew, Patron Saint of Crooked Lawyers and Judges, reminds his flock to give to his campaign and the campaigns of your local DA in adequate sums commensurate with your takings to receive your indulgences. Nothing in life is free and protection (insurance) is a necessary expense.

The problem with this attorney and the majority of the attorneys is that they have no belief in God.The constitutiion only works for a moral and God fearing people. The road to hell is wide and well traveled.

Hey All!

I have been looking to figure out a place to start with the Acai free trial and was wanting to know if anyone had some opinions on whether or not the stuff works for dieting? So far this is the one article I have been able to read that seemed realistic for the goals I have. Opinions?
