Carvel story in The Westchester Guardian
Consistent with its Mission Statement, The Westchester Guardian is again upholding the public's right to know the truth, most recently in the May 17, 2007 publication concerning events in the Westchester County Surrogate's Court involving the Carvel Estate. This weekly paper is an important source of information for citizens of Westchester and, indeed, beyond. I get my copy of THE WESTCHESTER GUARDIAN at 57th Street and 1st Avenue in Manhattan (near citibank, a blue box) And the blue boxes are ALL OVER WESTCHESTER !!!!

I can't believe a JUDGE would say "I don't see any warm and CUDDLY feelings." Did he really say that? It's something my nine-year-old daughter says...
Boy, you must be up to something sinister, dear honorable judge, if so many people are so ANGRY and call you (a JUDGE) "nasty names" AND THEY PRODUCE THE DOCUMENTS TO PROVE IT !!!!
The commission on judicial conduct would do you a favor by removing your cuddly butt from the bench !!

Know Tony Scarpino before he became the Surrogate, he was a snake then along with his boy Rob. He has a bad temper and a big mouth, don't trust this slime ball he screws people with a smile on his face.
Suggestion: once Tony Scarpino also gets booted off the bench, he can join recent bootee Frank Seddio and go into business together: bookie operation, numbers racket, carting company executives, loan shark enforcers, smuggling, cuddly baby bears, beauty pageants.... or a joint law practice ......surely, a perfect match, made in hell.
We need more from the likes of THE WESTCHESTER GUARDIAN newspaper. And don't the other NYC news papers realize how connected Westchester corruption is to the corruption in the 5 borroughs?

The 5/17 issue of The Westchester Guardian had excellent coverage of the Carvel story but there's much more. The article mentions two other names one of whom Suzanne McCormick is also involved with the convicted felon Bankers Trust Company and one Kevin McKowen who became yet another victim of the corrupt Surrogate's Court. How can Judge Scarpino permit these injustices to continue? Why did Judge Scarpino refuse to recuse himself in a case involving his former employer Bankers Trust Company? Was he taking a payoff and didn't want to miss out on the cash?
Bruce Winston another victim of the felon Bankers Trust Company had a trial that took 5 months. The Surrogate Judge Anthony Scarpino at the very start of the trial revealed that he had worked at Bankers Trust Company and did anyone have a problem with that. This is what Judge Scarpino calls full disclosure! By the way Bankers Trust Company won the whole case! The Fix Was In.
A friend told me about this blog and I think its great. Obtained a copy of the Westchester Guardian (it also is great) from one of their Manhattan boxes and read the Carvel story and what a story! I thought that the Manhattan Surrogate's Court was alone in the corruption and coverup but I see they're not. Would like to learn more about the widow Suzanne McCormick those criminals must have put her through Hell. According to the article Bankers Trust Company is not on the issued "Letters" so the Bank has no legal rights or power. I have learned in my own case that the Surrogate's Court love Corporate Fiduciaries but how could they love a dishonest felon? Judge Scarpino do you have any response? The injustice in the McKeown case is clear. Have gone to various people but you never get any results that I could see, the answer is we all have to band together and expose them to the world.
The Westchester Guardian's story is a tale that is disgusting. It tells of 3 victims (Carvel, McCormick & McKeown) that were denied their basic Constitutional Rights by Judge Scarpino and his minions. So where are the Feds?
In Westchester there is the mob tax and then there is the Surrogate's Court tax - read Scarpino tax.
this is sop and a case where real money is large we keep it going so that everyone makes a nice living, you know the game it's all about the money
Finally, got see of copy of May 17th Guardian, WOW, that's some story on Carvel and the creeps in the Surrogate's Court. Congratulations to the Guardian, it should print more stories like the Carvel story, I'm sure there are more.
Shame on you Judge Scarpino, have you no shame? Do you still go to church on Sunday, does it mean anything to you?
