FBI investigates Oakland City Hall for corruption

OAKLAND, Calif.—Oakland city officials say they are ready to cooperate with federal authorities investigating allegations of corruption at City Hall. The FBI has requested city documents as part of its probe of alleged nepotism and fraud under former City Administrator Deborah Edgerly. Mayor Ron Dellums fired Edgerly in July amid a police probe into whether she had interfered with an investigation into a violent street gang. City officials say the federal investigation seems to be expanding into questionable payroll practices, including $3 million in bonuses and other perks awarded with little oversight. Court documents show that authorities are also scrutinizing personnel records for Edgerly and her son and daughter—all of whom were city employees.

it has been said that the nyc metro area is too corrupt for the fbi to handle. Just too much corruption that they know about, but are afraid to do anything about because of the political ramifications on their jobs. Do you believe that? It's some country if that is so. These employees don't want to do the job that they are being paid for with our tax money.
the bureau is ready to pounce on the ny corruption in a way that'll shake the entire country. certain folks at the dept of justice in washington are betting their careers and futures on it.
I had an FBI AGENT tell me that the documents showing OCA criminal activity and document alterations were for a federal judge to address..not him!
Since when does a federal judge ever conduct investigations... and years after the reports are fresh?
The FBI'S job in America is what...solving something that doen't take too much heavy lifting without controversy?
I see in the Bush era, that the FBI believes that domestic terrorism is of no concern to Amercans....JUST THE... THREAT... OF FOREIGN TERRORISM!
While daily American terrorism affects the citizens way more stessfully and causing the greatest lack of security in their lives, than most perceived attacks from foreigners, coming about every 10 yrs!
What is really up with the FBI in NY STATE??
I don't believe the Bureau will ever come, they have been paid off. The families boxed J.E. Hoover so he didn't bother them and it's been done again. No one is going to do anything from where I sit. I know that if anyone from the Bureau every talked to me I would spit in his face! What the hell do they do. Screw them all!
The FBI refuses to investigated cases of child porn involving officials of court. They claim is a civil matter and not criminal. Furthermore the court can best handle the matter. Then the DA's Office brushes you off claiming child porn is not illegal. I wonder how much judges are making out of child porn.
So whenare the feds coming to Westchester (Yonkers - White Plains) that's where the corruption is - - - the lawyers are running the show with the mob
Don`t forget Rockland County.Corruption is the name of the game and they laugh at the F.B.I.
THE WHOLE 9TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT IS A SEWER. THE FBI, DA'S, CPS, JUDGES IN ORANGE COUNTY COVER UP CHILD PORN AND PORN. I WONDER HOW MUCH MONRY THEY ARE MAKING OF CHILDREN IN CHILD CUSTODY CASES.
